A traditional sipping rum based on the “Industriel Rhums” used as currency in the convict days of old Sydney Town, Australia. With unsulfured molasses and dark brown sugar as the base we age Backcut a minimum of 12 months in our Backcountry Bourbon barrels taking on a slight caramel sweetness from the whiskey educated barrels. Backcut is a true Colorado original with roots firmly planted in the days of the British Penal Colony of Australia.
